We do have some new team names on the grid this season with Caterham F1 the newest name on the grid after previously being known as Lotus F1.

One extra angle to the roster in 2012 sees the return of former World Champion Kimi Raikkonen who will be returning to the sport after a spell in rallying. Grand Prix Calendar and Schedule 2012

The 2012 Grand Prix Calendar is already looking like one of the most interesting in years with twenty races on the schedule. The stand-out races include the Bahrain Grand Prix in March which authorities are hoping to run after it was cancelled in 2011 due to civil unrest in the country. We are also waiting to hear if the track in Austin, Texas will be ready on time with the F1 bandwagon set to return to the United States for the first time since 2007. The authorities are desperate to take the sport back to America and a race in Texas would surely be a massive success if it is held as scheduled in November.
