Circuit Details

The race will take place in the spectacular setting of the Yas Marina Circuit which is 5.554km long and was only recently built specifically to host this Grand Prix. The track carries top speeds of 320 km/h and an average speed of 198 km/h which should make for a fascinating race. Every spectator grandstand on the new circuit is covered due to the searing desert heat and that is a world first for a race track.

The 5 star Yas Marina Hotel has been built at the complex which actually straddles the circuit offering guests an unparalleled and unique view of this stunning new race track. The track itself features nine right-hand turns and 11 left hand turns and is in the minority as it runs anti-clockwise. Fans and drivers will be looking forward to seeing the new circuit to see if it lives up to expectations and no doubt there will be a great deal of excitement as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix draws close.
