Robert Kubica
Robert Kubica is one of the top young drivers currently in Formula 1 and he looks set to go from strength-to-strength in the future. Kubica became the first ever Polish Formula 1 Driver in 2006 when he was promoted from tester to race driver during the season for the BMW-Sauber Team. Since then the Pole has shown a great level of skill and promise which culminated in him finishing in a brilliant 4th position in the World Championship in 2008.
The highlight of the 2008 season was when Kubica came through and won the Canadian Grand Prix to become the 99th different winner of a Formula 1 Grand Prix. The most noticeable feature of 2008 was his consistent points scoring throughout the season which was the secret behind him finishing in 4th place. This is something that has not gone unnoticed and should he have another similar season in 2009 there is bound to be interest from larger teams.
Robert Kubica is most definitely one to watch in 2009 and while the World Championship might be just out-of-reach this year he will no doubt be there or thereabouts in most races. This young Pole looks to be destined for great things in the Sport of Formula 1.
